Alumni Mathematics
Welcome to the Mathematics Alumni Community!
Our community brings together current and former students of the Mathematical Institute to form a network.
Goals
The Community Alumni Mathematics, under the umbrella of Alumni UniBE, connects graduates of mathematics with the University of Bern, the Mathematical Institute, and current students. Its aim is to foster long-term academic and personal exchange, keep the connection to the University of Bern and the Institute alive beyond graduation, and strengthen the transfer of knowledge between studies, professional practice, and research.
The community offers, among other things:
- an annual meeting between alumni and students
- targeted involvement of alumni in activities such as the STEM Day and information days
- a structured point of contact for networking and collaboration
In this way, the community creates a framework in which University of Bern alumni stay connected with one another and with the next generation of mathematicians.
Membership
All friends of mathematics at the University of Bern—alumni, students, and staff—are invited to become members. You can join the community by becoming a member of Alumni UniBE.
